Missing something?

Request a feature

SofaCode is built by a small studio that uses it every day, which means the roadmap is mostly "the things that annoyed somebody enough to say so". This is how you say so — for the apps, the watches, the desktop side, and the SofaNode itself.

We cannot promise a date, or that any one thing gets built. We can promise a person reads every request, and that anything that ships is named in the changelog.

Something broken rather than missing? Report the bug instead — it asks the questions that make it reproducible.

What makes a request land

The problem, not the fixWhat you were trying to do beats what button you want — the problem often has a better answer than the one either of us thought of first.
One thing per requestFive ideas in one box get triaged as one. Send five.
Check it is not thereThe changelog and the docs move faster than the marketing page does.

The single most useful box on this page. Tell us the situation, not the solution.

How bad the workaround is tells us how much the feature is worth.

SofaCode's five faces are meant to behave the same — tick every one where this would make sense and we will keep them in step.

About your SofaNode

So we know whether this has to work with more than one node on the desk.

Only so we can tell you if it already shipped — sofacode --version on the computer, Settings → About on the phone.

A photo of a napkin drawing is a perfectly good spec. So is a screenshot of another app doing it right.

Requests and anything you attach are stored privately and read by the SofaCode team only — see the privacy notice. Ideas you send may end up in the product; please do not send anything you are not free to share. Keep secrets (tokens, pairing codes, passwords) out of screenshots.

Found a bug on the way here? Report it — same inbox, different questions. Everything that ships is named in the changelog (the SofaNode has its own).
